Kelly Llanas

With more than twenty years in education, Kelly Llanas continually returns to her deepest professional passion: mathematics education. After spending a decade in the classroom teaching middle school mathematics across all grade levels, Kelly expanded her impact through leadership roles including principal (grades 5–8), instructional coach, MTSS leader, and district math coordinator.

She has served as K–12 Math Coordinator for Racine Unified School District and as a K–8 Math Instructional Coach in Zion Elementary School District 6, supporting teachers and administrators in strengthening mathematics instruction system-wide.

Kelly’s greatest passion lies in partnering with educators to elevate math teaching and learning, particularly in K–8 settings. She is deeply committed to building students’ number sense through hands-on, engaging instruction that fosters deep understanding and long-term mathematical confidence.
